Wet Skid-Pan - Drift Basics Experience

Sharpen your car control skills and experience the thrill of drifting with this 2 hour experience guided by experience drifters (male or female tutor available, whatever makes you most comfortable).

This is chance for you to drive and learn to slide a turbo, manual transmission, rear-wheel drive car on the skidpan at Hampton Downs Racetrack. With an on-board instructor by your side, you'll be taught the basics (adjusted according to your skill level) and have up to an hour to enjoy multiple 3-minute sessions on the skidpan. The car is an R32 sedan Skyline equipped with a 6-point roll-cage for safety and hydraulic handbrake for easy maneuvering. Safety gear will be provided but you do need to wear long sleeves, pants and closed in shoes.

At the end of your session, you'll also receive photos and videos of your experience as well as a voucher for future visits. 

Note that a minimum restricted licence is required as per Hampton Downs' policy.

Please note: having a bucket-seat in the car means we are limited on the size of people we can accommodate. We do have a slider-rail installed for height differences, and the seat is generous in relation to race seats, but if you have any concerns around this please feel free to reach out.
